IAC Old Fort Plant Recognized By Honda for Quality ExcellenceOLD FORT, N.C. (May 30, 2008) – The employees of International Automotive Components’ (IAC) Old Fort operation were today visited and recognized by Honda of America officials during a special award ceremony. Honda of America officials presented the 2007 Quality Award to IAC for delivering best-in-class quality performance across multiple Honda vehicle platforms - all of which were delivered by IAC's Old Fort, N.C. Flooring & Acoustics operations. “It is especially gratifying to be recognized by a customer, like Honda, whose own standards for quality and craftsmanship are among the highest in the industry,” said David Sudzina, Old Fort Plant Manager. “This award reflects the commitment and dedication of all of our employees. Without their efforts, this award would not be possible,” he said. Honda recognized Old Fort operations for consistently achieving single and low double-digit Index Per Million (IPM) quality performance for flooring systems, trunk liners and dash insulators used in Acura TL and Honda Pilot, Odyssey and Civic models.
