IAC Names Executive Director, Marketing and Communications

DEARBORN, Mich. (October 22, 2007) - International Automotive Components Group North America (IAC) has appointed David Ladd as Executive Director, Marketing and Communications.

"We are continuing to build an extremely talented and capable team here," said Jim Kamsickas, president and CEO of IAC North America. "Dave is a great professional and brings more than 20 years of exceptional automotive experience in communications and strategy."

Prior to joining IAC, Ladd spent 17 years with Siemens VDO Automotive, where he most recently served as Director of Corporate Communications for The Americas, guiding the company's business to business and aftermarket communications, public relations and marketing strategies and programs, and aligning them with the regional business, sales and branding objectives. Ladd also bolstered his event management experience during his tenure with Campbell & Co., now PCG Campbell, a marketing and communications agency, and Volkswagen of America. In his new role, Ladd is responsible for all media relations activities, internal and external communications efforts, government affairs, branding, trade show involvement and advertising.

Ladd received his bachelor's degree in German and Journalism/Public Relations from Wayne State University. He is an active member of the Original Equipment Suppliers Association (OESA) Communications Executive Council, the Detroit Economic Club (DEC), the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), the Automotive Press Association (APA) and the Automotive Public Relations Council (APRC).
