FreeForm™ Creative Molded Products

IAC offers FreeForm™ creative molded products to enable a variety of colors, textures and finishes to be combined into one molded component. The design freedom allows unique feel and appearance through multi-color and multi-texture differentiation without painting. This technology also provides the opportunity for integration of separate molding operations into a single process and provides fit and finish improvement over traditional injection molding processes. It provides a softer touch than hard plastic, and also affords improved scratch and mar resistance. In addition, these products support IAC’s seamless airbag technology. Environmental benefits include reduced VOCs when compared to a painted solution and entire components can be reground and recycled.
