ABOUT IAC

Janis N. Acosta is Vice President, Secretary and General Counsel for International Automotive Components Group North America (IAC). In this role, Acosta supervises all legal activity, including management of mergers and acquisitions and all commercial matters, as well as IAC's corporate development, including public relations and marketing.

A 14-year automotive industry veteran, Acosta has extensive experience in commercial transactions. She previously served as corporate partner at Winston & Strawn LLP, based in Chicago. In addition, Acosta also served as Vice President of Global Risk Management and Deputy General Counsel for Lear Corporation headquartered in Southfield, Mich.

Acosta received her Juris Doctorate from Wayne State University Law School in Detroit and her bachelor's degree from Hillsdale College in Hillsdale, Mich.
