Battery Powered Visor Vanity Technology

IAC offers patent-pending technology for a battery powered visor vanity with LED lighting. The result is a lower cost solution that offers improved lighting to consumers. Current visor technology requires a wire harness to provide power for vanity lighting which is typically routed and assembled to a headliner. IAC’s innovative concept provides a self-contained battery within the visor, therefore eliminating the need for a wire harness and assembly to the headliner. The battery has a 10 year extended shelf life and exceeds OEM environmental and durability requirements, exceeding expected lifetime usage. It also enables aftermarket assembly into existing visors.
